More Information About Gel and Filler Injections
The goal of injecting various fillers is to achieve the golden ratio in the face and rejuvenate the skin. With filler injections, the amount of fat under the skin, which increases with age, can be reduced, resulting in muscles becoming closer to the skin. Gel and filler injections are performed in different parts of the face. For example, to eliminate dark circles and hollowness around the eyes, under-eye gel injections can be done, or for lip volumization and lifting, lip gel or lip filler injections can be used. Other gel and filler treatments include cheek volumization and lifting, improving smile lines and lines around the lips, improving marionette lines and tear troughs, facial contouring and jawline harmonization, improving chin retrusion, face lifting, and nose reduction.
The cost of gel and filler injections depends heavily on facial anatomy, injection site, and type of filler. For example, the price of under-eye filler is determined based on the type of filler. Usually, the price of injecting high-quality fillers is higher, but their quality is also better. Although the cost of filler injections using high-quality fillers may be slightly higher, your health is valuable and should not be jeopardized by choosing cheap, low-quality fillers or unreliable beauty centers.
It’s important to know that filler injections in the face are known as 8-point filler and 6-point filler. The first injection area on the face is the temple for temple lifting. Subsequently, gel and filler injections are used to address hollowness and dark circles around the eyes, fill in smile lines and tear troughs, marionette lines, cheek volumization, lips, and jawline contouring. Lip injections seem to be among the most popular injection areas.

Fillers are divided into two categories: natural and synthetic fillers. Body fat is a type of natural filler, but its applications and effects are completely different from hyaluronic acid fillers. Among synthetic fillers, hyaluronic acids have closer compounds to human skin and are broken down and absorbed by the body after a specific period. This is why the results of filler injections are temporary. Filler complications only occur if low-quality fillers are injected in inappropriate volumes or by non-specialist physicians. Lumpiness, separation from skin tissue, and sometimes vascular occlusion are complications of low-quality filler injections.
