More About Botox
Botox injections are administered in various areas of the face to achieve facial harmony. This procedure can be used for eyebrow lifts, improving frown lines and crow’s feet, correcting gummy smiles, and achieving a face lift.
The cost of Botox varies depending on the injection site and type of Botox used (e.g., premium Botox). Eyebrow Botox, forehead Botox, under-eye Botox, and general facial Botox injections are administered after consultation with a specialist and considering your facial anatomy to achieve the best possible results.
You may have heard that Botox causes paralysis. This is true, but only temporarily and limited to the subcutaneous muscles in the injected area. Botox injections temporarily paralyze and deactivate these muscles. It’s important to note that the effects of Botox are not immediate. They typically start to appear around the third day after injection and become fully visible within 2 to 3 weeks.
Is Botox harmful?
The answer is somewhat complex, but generally speaking, Botox itself does not have side effects. However, if administered by an unqualified practitioner, in incorrect dosages, or using low-quality Botox, it can lead to complications.
